Amanda Guyette – Clinical Supervisor
Hi, my name is Amanda Guyette and I am the clinical supervisor here at the Care Alliance of Western Mass. In my role, I work as a liaison between our members, the ACOs, the MCOs, and the health care centers that our members attend. I work closely with our key contacts at the ACOs and MCOs to discuss program successes and areas for improvement. I attend quarterly meetings with our ACOs and MCOs to discuss and collaborate on member needs, problem solve, and work to expand the program. I communicate on the regular with care coordinators, case managers, nurse case managers, social workers, and community health workers to discuss clinical problems and provide clinical insight for our complex needs. I work closely with our executive director, Roseann Martoccia, to run the quarterly consumer advisory board meeting. Where our members and their caregivers have an opportunity to discuss and provide insight and feedback on the program. We take this feedback and we bring it to Mass Health so we can work to improve the quality of care coordination our program provides. In this program, we look at the factors that discourage members from leading their best lives. We look at things such as housing, employment, food insecurity, child care, and education to provide our members with the skills needed to be successful in their lives. I am an RN by training, but I enjoy working this capacity as I can give back to the community. I am very grateful to have an opportunity to work in this role and help members live their best lives.
Care Alliance of Western Massachusetts works with residents of Hampden, Hampshire, Berkshire, and Franklin Counties. We also provide services to residents of Athol, Petersham, Phillipston, and Royalston in Worcester County.
